Professor Adegbulugbe has over 40 years’ experience in the Energy sector. He is a professor of Energy and Management with several academic distinctions and awards. He holds a First Class (BSc) degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from the University of Ife University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 on a scale of 5.0 – an all-time record in 1976. He also has a DSc. In Nuclear Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (“MIT”), USA.
He has consulted widely for a number of a National and international bodies on Energy and Oil & Gas related issues. These institutions include the World Bank, UNIDO, UNDP, NNPC, PHCN, Ministry of National Planning, ECOWAS etc. He serves on the board of several Oil and Gas Companies.
Professor Adegbulugbe was a former Director at the Centre for Energy Research and Development at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He was the Special Adviser on Energy Matters to the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria and as Chairman of the Gas to Power Project between 2005 and 2007.
Professor Adegbulugbe is also a Lead Author of the Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change, which won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize and has presented over 60 articles and academic papers to international journals and conferences.
Dr. Alibe is a multi-skilled professional with over 35 years of Oil Industry experience. Bunu Alibe graduated with 1st class honors in Civil Engineering at the Ahmadu Bello University. He was awarded the prize for the Best Graduating Student in Engineering. He also holds a double Masters Degrees (M.S. and Civil Engineering) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) USA. He also holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Cornell University.
Dr. Bunu worked with the NNPC in the Engineering and Technical Division (ETD), he first served as the General Manager Engineering from 1991 – 1996, and then the Group General Manager from 1996 – 1998. Dr. Alibe also served as the Managing Director of the National Engineering and Technology Company (NETCO) from 1998 to 2004. While at NETCO, he spearheaded a revolution that led to NETCO the only Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of NNPC to achieve a complete financial autonomy; first engineering company in Nigeria to get ISO 9001 certification; and the only SBU to operate profitably and to declare dividend in each successive year from 1999-2004.
Dr. Bunu Alibe was one time director on the board of Arco Petrochemical Company . He is presently the Chairman, NietcoDietsmann Company
Dr. Alibe has published several peer reviewed journal articles and he was a member of Vision 2010 Committee of the Federal Government of Nigeria (1997 – 1999) and of the Oil and Gas Industry Reform Committee, OGIC (2008 – 2010).
Barr. Ilori, is a Lawyer, Journalist and public relations practitioner with 35 years’ experience spanning the private and public sectors. After a successful career as a senior journalist, he worked in the banking industry as a Controller/ Head of Corporate Affairs,Omega Bank Plc (later Spring Bank).
Barr. Ilori has served on the boards of many companies and public corporations including Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Board of Directors and National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
He is a member of several professional bodies including the International Bar Association, Commonwealth Bar Association, Nigerian Bar Association, Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), Federation of African Public Relations practitioners and Common wealth Journalists Association (CJA). He has attended many national and international conferences in various disciplines.
Mr. Olojede has over 35 years’ experience in Environmental Management and Public Administration. He has significant expertise in Strategic Environment Assessment and is a member of the International Association for Impact Assessment.
He served as a Pioneer Head of the Research and Assessment Division of the Federal Ministry of Environment and was also the National Operational focal point for the Global Environment facility.
Mr. Olojede was an Environmental scientist/special Assistant to the CEO, Federal Environmental Protection Agency (FEPA) from and Chief Planning Officer/ special Assistant to the CEO, Natural Resources Conservation Council.
He was also Senior Forestry Officer, Federal Department of Forestry from 1979 – 1990. He is the Foundation CEO of Abamoda Consulting Ltd, a firm of Environment Consultants.
Adeniyi "Niyi" Adegbulugbe is a finance and accounting professional with over 12 years of experience spanning Nigeria, Ghana and UK. He holds an MSc (Distinction) in Economics & Finance from Loughborough University, UK and BA degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is proficient in the use of financial models for OCGC and CCGC power plants, UNIDO feasibility study COMFAR package. Trained at the International Human Resources Corporation (IHRDC) USA where he obtained a certificate in Financial Modelling and Petroleum Project Economics, Adeniyi has worked as consultant in oil and gas, and power sectors.
Mr. Adeniyi was also the Executive director of Heptagon Ventures Ltd supervising and executing projects ranging from oil and gas to Energy. At Heptagon Ventures, he advised the Board of Directors on the financial implications of capital investment decisions and handling research on investments in various sectors of the Nigerian and Global economy.
Salisu “Sali” Suraju is a proven Oil and Gas practitioner with more than 35 years experience in Nigeria, USA and South Korea. His experience covers Operations Management and Major Capital Projects execution.
Salisu spent more than 25 years with Chevron Oil and Gas where he served in various operational leadership roles for different field locations in the Niger Delta. He also spent a considerable amount of time working on several major capital projects for Chevron including the reconstruction and replacement of Escravos Export Pipeline System, Chevron Eastern Operations Gas Flare out Project and Meren Gas compression Station. Salisu provided critical interphase between Operations and Engineering in the Hyundai- led USAN detailed engineering design and fabrication in Korea.
Salisu holds a Higher National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering and MSc in Transport Management.
Commodore Joe Umukoro Rtd is in charge of the development, coordination and implementation of security policies for Green Energy International Limited.
During his career with the Nigerian Navy, Commodore Joe had received several awards and decorations amongst which are Forces Service Star(FSS), Meritorious Service Star (MSS) and Distinguish Service Star(DSS). Others are Pass Staff Course Dagger (PSC+), Fellow Chartered Institute of Shipping (FCIS) and Fellow of the Defence College (FDC)
Johnson Akinyemi is a Mechanical engineer with over 13 years cognate experience in project management, front end engineering, facilities design and operations. He has a unique blend of both service industry and E&P experience in process engineering, piping, pipeline, static equipment, rotating equipment & package equipment.
Johnson worked with Shell Petroleum Development Company as Senior Project Engineer on several major capital projects including the complex Forcados Yokri Integrated Project. He has an in-depth knowledge of oil & gas facilities designs and has worked with reputable multi-national and local EPCI companies such as Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited and Kohasa Engineering Company Limited.
He holds a BTech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (CGPA 4.3/5.0) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and is a registered member of Nigeria Society of Engineer and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria.
James Odunuga is a Reservoir Geologist and Geoscience Analyst with over 16 years experience. He has professional experience cutting across the petroleum and banking sector.
James worked with Degeconek for several years, in multidisciplinary environment, particularly in the area of Exploration, Development, Drilling operations and Reservoir management. His oil and gas experience covers integrated Field Development Studies, seismic interpretation, prospect generation and maturation, static modelling and Reserves/resources estimation and certification for statutory reporting/financing purposes.
He has handled several acquisition and divestiture project due to his understanding of the African oil and gas market takeover code, merger and acquisition, debt and equity financing. He worked on divestments opportunities for Shell, Chevron and ConocoPhillips. James has a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. He is a member of AAPG and NAPE.
Sunday “Sunny” is a Chemical engineer with over 12 years cognate experience in process engineering, Front End & Detailed Engineering Design, Pre-commissioning and commissioning works.
Sunny worked with Shell Petroleum Development Company as Lead Process Engineer and he had led several Safety in Design Processes (HAZOP, HAZID, BOW_TIE etc.). He also led several cross-functional team on company-critical projects like the Forcardos Yokri Integrated and the AFAM F5 projects.
He holds BEng. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (CGPA 4.27/5.0) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Oladeji "Deji" has more than 10 year Supply Chain Management experience and he is in charge of developing and implementing of procurement policies, processes and procedures. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
Deji had previously worked with Huawei Technologies Company Nigeria Limited where he had the unique opportunity of working across various supply chain management processes.
He is a member of MNIM, PRINCE 2 Project Management and a Certified International Trade Logistics Specialist (CITLS) from the International Import-Export Institute
