Green Energy International (GEIL) has obtained approval from the federal government for the field development plan (FDP) and environmental impact assessment (EIA) for Phase II development of Otakikpo marginal field in Oil Mining Lease OML 11 in Nigeria.

June 21, 2019

The Nigerian power sector regulator- Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has granted Green Energy International Ltd (GEIL), the Operator of the Otakikpo Marginal field an embedded Licence for forty Megawatts of electricity (40 MW) power plant.

June 20, 2019

The management and staff of GEIL set aside January 31 and February 1, 2019 to take part in the GEIL annual retreat, themed “RAMP UP” which also means to bolster, strengthen or build up.
